NATIONAL president of the Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN, Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor yesterday expressed shock at the death of two eminent persons who had at different times, contributed to the development of Delta State, Chief James Otobo and Senator Fred Aghogho Brume.

Chief Otobo, former Deputy Premier in the defunct Mid West Region died on September 11, 2011 at St. Mary Hospital in London while Senator Brume, pioneer Chief Executive Officer of Delta Steel Company, DSC, Ovwian-Aladja in Delta State died on September 12, 2011 of heart-related complications.

The CAN president expressed heartfelt condolences to the Otobo and Brume families, the government of Delta State, the leadership of the National Assembly and the Federal Government of Nigeria for the irreparable loss of people whose valuable experience would be missed greatly at this crucial moment of the country’s political evolution.
