ABUJA—National Space Research and Development Agency, NARSDA, yesterday, said reports received from the newly launched satellites ground station in Abuja were perfect.
Head, Media and Corporate Affairs of NARSDA, Mr Felix Ale, who stated this in a statement, said the two satellites were working perfectly in the orbit.
Mr Ale said: “Contrary to a newspaper report, the two satellites are being monitored from the ground station in Abuja and no hitch has been recorded.
“The two satellites are currently undergoing orbit commissioning process during which various software for effective utmost performance will be loaded into the satellites from the ground receiving stations.”
He noted that the software download was being carried out successfully without any hitch, saying as soon as the commissioning process was completed, download of data and images for various applications would commence.
