Dolphins players adamant on strike action

 By KATE OBODO

The strike action taken by Dolphin FC players to protest the  unpaid sign-on fees and match bonuses owed them by their management is reported to persist as the players have vowed not to call it off unless they are paid .

A source close to the club told Inside Out Premier League that the players are still on strike and are very serious about it, adding that unless the management of the team meets their demand, they  will not call off the strike.
“The club’s management  and the Rivers State government are aware of the situation and are doing everything to ensure the players get paid and continue in their bid to win the title this season. There is hope that the players will be paid before the league resumes.

Though they have been  training and preparing for the league, that is not to say that they have called the strike off. The most important thing is that their demand still stands and if the management doesn’t do something about it quickly, I’m afraid the strike might drag on,” the source said.
