UGHELLI-THE Chief Magistrate grade one, Mr Obomejero Aforkeya,who was kidnapped last Sunday in Ughelli, Delta State, has been released by his abductors.
Aforkeya, Vanguard gathered,was left off the hook on Tuesday at Ekiugbo Iyede in Isoko North Local Government Area of the state.
A close family source, who spoke to Vanguard, said Aforkeya was dropped blind- folded by the suspected kidnappers at about 6pm, adding that he was held hostage by his abductors in one of Isoko’s villages.
The source, who pleaded anonymity, disclosed that one of the suspected kidnappers was arrested in Warri yesterday.
According to the source, the suspected kidnappers were intercepted with the official Honda Civic IVI TEC car of Aforkeya while trying to escape with another person they allegedly kidnapped.
