Olugbodi, others invited for World Bank training

In recognition of his contribution to the growth of marketing communication and destination branding in Nigeria, the World Bank has invited Mr. Tunji Olugbodi, Group Managing Director of Verdant Zeal Marketing Communications Limited along with 24 other communication experts around the globe for a 10-day executive course on Communications and Governance Reform.

The course which is put together by the World Bank Communication for Governance and Accountability Program (CommGAP) in conjunction with the Annenberg School for Communication, University of Pennsylvania and the Annenberg School for Communication & Journalism, University of Southern California will hold at the World Bank’s headquarters, Washington DC from July 18-27, 2011.

According to the letter sent to Olugbodi for the training course, the course is expected to help equip participants with knowledge about the most recent advances in communication and proven techniques in reform implementation.

The letter read in part, “We are pleased to inform you that you have been selected to participate in the pilot delivery of the Executive Course in Communication and Governance Reform, to be held on July 18 – 27, in Washington, DC.
