By Godwin Oghre

Further hearing in the charge of unlawful possession of fire arms against embattled Democratic Peoples Party, DPP, chieftain and House of Representatives candidate for Okpe, Uvwie and Sapele Constituency, Mr. Michael Omuvwie and Mr. Shedrack Famous, before a Sapele Magistrate Court, Delta State, has been adjourned till August 2.

When the matter came up, yesterday, the accused persons were in court. The prosecution witnesses were absent in court.

Counsel to the accused persons, Mr. Edward Okirikpo, told the court that he saw the prosecution witnesses earlier, as they sat close to each another, wondering why they decided not to show up in court.

He prayed the court to strike out the charge.
