WARRI-PRODUCTION has resumed at the Delta Steel Company, DSC, Ovwian-Aladja, Delta State, after a four-day interruption, caused by the collapse of the Steel Melting Shop, SMS, a vital production component of the company.
Vanguard was informed, that production resumed on Saturday, following the completion of arrangements to shift further production to the only technically functioning furnace among the four in the company at the moment.
Acting General Manager, Public Affairs, DSC, Mr. Kesiena Agbosa, who spoke to Vanguard, yesterday, said production resumed on Saturday after the disruption caused by rainstorm to the roof of the steel melting shop.
