Centrespread, Draft FCB deepen relationship to improve positioning

With eyes on continuous improvement and positioning in the advertising industry, Centrespread FCB is deepening relationship with its foreign partners, Draft FCB of USA with the thinking of including research in its service offering.

Kolawole Ayanwale, Managing Director of Centrespread, revealed while hosting officials of Draft FCB team that the agency is into most of the marketing offerings such as outdoor, social media, PR and advertising and second line agency except research.

Perhaps, the thinking of introducing research services will not be unconnected to the dynamism and growth of marketing communication business. In the last couple of years, the game in the industry has been up in service delivery, quality of the production of advert materials and the quality of the personnel.

He said that most marketing agencies are equipping themselves with training, exposure and access to international tools of business so as to be ready for the competition.

Explaining the partnership, Ayanwale said there was FCB Worldwide. FCB, was a hugely above the line agency, based in US, but spread all over the world.

Four years ago, FCB merged with another successful below the line agency in US called Draft. “So the big above the line joined with big below the line agency and the name changed from FCB to Draft FCB Worldwide. The agency is now a much bigger agency with powerful offering across the globe.”

The strengthened relationship, according to Ayanwale, will continue to enhance the development of Centrespread staff, he said.
