Nigeria Football Federation board is set to clean out its secretariat staff and usher in fresh personal that would drive its ambition to be a result oriented federation.
It was gathered the contracts of the secretary-general, his deputies and head of departments expired since last, but it was extended and it is due to expire in four months.
Already prospective candidates are warming up to jostling for the positions that would be declared vacant, even as it the NFF has given any indication that it would review such contracts soon.
“By all reckoning, there should have been a review of contract staff in the NFF. We have put that off due circumstances. But we are waiting to see what will happen in the next couple of weeks,” stated a member of the NFF.
However, it was learnt that some of the staff that are likely to be affect have started lobbying to keep their jobs, while others are simply wishing that the NFF does not bring up the subject.
