LAGOS  – The bloated body of a student of Lagos State University, Ojo, was Monday, recovered, 24 hours after he reportedly drowned at Badagry beach.

The deceased, a 300 level student of Business Education, reportedly drowned during a birthday party of one of his friends held at the beach.

Report said the deceased, identified as Seun Adebamwo, jumped into the beach with other fun seekers to swim. But apprehension reportedly set in after he was discovered missing, a development that  marred the celebration as a search was conducted round the beach.

Tension heightened after his clothes were found, suggesting he could have drowned. Efforts to recover the remains of Adebamwo, a native of  Ilaje-Ese Odo Local Government Area of Ondo State proved abortive as local divers searched in vain, until Monday evening.
