Victor Obinna declared that he was ready to give 100 percent, as long as Samson Siasia remains on the saddle of the national team.

This declaration is coming on the heels of jibes aimed at coach Siasia by ‘tweeting’ Osaze Peter Odemwingie.

Though that episode has died down with Siasia waving off the “Siasia has got issues” remarks as a way of Osaze expressing his feelings, Obinna submitted that Eagles players need to show more understanding with the coach.

“Speaking from a personal point of view Siasia is the best coach in the whole world. Each time I’m invited to the team I will give my best performance.

This is a coach who knows how to fight for the right of the players and that is what we the players always desire,” said Obinna.

Osaze had issues to grind with his coach after the last International break. He was not in the game against Kenya and that was enough to hit a comment at Siasia on his tweeter page.

Siasia understandably put the matter behind him he liken Osaze to a sulking school boy who received a scolding from his teacher.

“I don’t anything against any player. All I’m concerned about is to build a solid team for Nigeria,” Siasia said in an interview.
