When artiste zone party rocked Lagos

It is already about two weeks that the Artiste zone post Valentine party held, yet, select fun lovers that thronged The Place, Ikeja, Lagos, for the event are still talking about it with glee and fondness.

This is not unconnected with the fact that the event featured live performances from some of Nigeria’s current hit makers notably, the Kennis Music All-Stars comprising Goldie, Jaywon, KSB, Essence, Femi Adeyinka and Eedris Abdulkareem.

Hosted by popular comedian Owen G, the event, which also had artistes like GT D Guitarman, Iyanya, General Pype and Mike Anyasodo on the bill, saw Kennis Music honcho, Kenny Ogungbe performing his single, Calabar Girl, live with Eedris.

It was a performance that drew applauses and cheers from the youthful audience. So did the turntable wizardry of legendary DJ Jimmy Jatt who ensured that the revelers were on the dance floor till the early hours of the following morning.

Ken Agbim, the chief executive officer, Boom Productions Limited, organizers of the event, declared that the Artiste Zone Post Valentine party which was supported by MTN Fun Link, was planned to give fun lovers, Nigerian artistes, friends, fans and partners of the television entertainment programme, Artiste Zone, an opportunity to meet and interact, network and unwind in an entertainment-filled atmosphere.

“I am really excited at the huge turnout of guests and I promise that that we will make it an annual event,” Agbim said.
