The National Chairman of the All Nigerian Peoples Party, ANPP, Ogbonaya Onu yesterday inaugurated the party presidential campaign committee with a charge to put party interest first and ensure that their campaign reach all the nook and cranny of the country.
The chairman also admonished Nigerians to vote for change, if the people are really tired of what has been happening in the past 12 years of PDP reign in Nigeria.
His words: “Nigerians in the past 4 months know that our party is united, no faction and we have put the past behind us. The stage is set and the die is cast, we are not afraid to meet Nigerians, to talk to them and no part of Nigeria is far to reach by ANPP.
“We call on Nigerians, we must realize that if we do not like what is happening for the past 12 years, we can change it, we must not seat at home and clamoring for change. Nigeria is a big and rich nation. So, we should not be like the way we are, people should give ANPP the opportunity to lead the nation and compare it with the party that ruled for the past 12 years”.
Responding on behalf of the Committee, the vice presidential candidate of the party, Chief John Oyegun said there is no any other message or reason people need to justify the change and necessity for a new party which is no other party than ANPP.
He said “your own revolution has to be through your vote in April, so vote and stand by your vote as the party will deliver. We will prove that we are the party of today, tomorrow and the party to beat”.
The National Campaign Committee is chaired by The National Chairman Ogbonaya Onu, while the Director General Shekarau for Nigeria serves as Secretary.
