BY SIMON EBEGBULEM
A member of the Edo state House of Assembly, Mr Ogbeiwi Etin-Osa, Monday, dismissed the allegation from some aspirants of the Action Congress of the Nigeria (ACN), that Governor Adams Oshiomhole imposed candidates on the party during the primaries.

The lawmaker who is representing Orhionmwon Constituency 11, in the state House of Assembly, said in a statement in Benin City, that “the Comrade Governor, the proponent of one man one vote campaign was never a part of the ACN Primaries of the 12th January, 2011 and could not have influenced the outcome as all aspirants across the state were given a level playing field in accordance with the Governor’s philosophy of one man one vote”.

Ogbeiwi said that the January 12 Primaries in Orhiomwnon Constituency 11, which he emerged winner was free and fair, adding that the allegation against the Governor that he influenced the primaries was not only false but an attempt to rubbish the “transparent exercise”.
