Bomadi Pdp affirms support for Uduaghan

Thousands of Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, faithful in Bomadi Local Government Area of Delta State, weekend, reaffirmed their support for the re-election bid of erstwhile Governor of the state,  Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan.

Speaking on the heels of insinuations that the Ijaw were not in support of Uduaghan’s re-election bid, the member representing Bomadi/Patani Federal Constituency, Mr  Nicholas Mutu, said that the Bomadi PDP had declared its support for Uduaghan,  urging the party supporters to ensure  his victory at the poll.

Mutu said that the PDP at the national and state levels had resolved to work with Uduaghan as the sole candidate of the party, adding that no one would substitute him with another candidate,  as it was only when a candidate resigns his candidature formally, that he could be replaced.

He expressed confidence that the erstwhile governor would re_emerge as the winner of the forthcoming election, charging the PDP in the area to work  in their various wards and deliver Uduaghan.

The party chairman in the council, Mr. Pius Labo,  hinted that the National Working Committee NWC of the party had resolved to work and deliver Uduaghan as the only candidate for the party.
