Nwodo sacks Ogun State PDP

BARELY forty-eight hours after the dissolution of the Abia State Chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, the National Chairman of the Party, Dr.Okwesilieze Nwodo yesterday sacked that of Ogun State.

In a statement signed yesterday by Nwodo’s Special Assistant, Media, Ike Abonyi, the party said, “it has become imperative that the Executive of the Party in the State be harmonized”.

The National Chairman of the party who directed that the earlier directive for harmonization should be implemented forthwith, however expressed hope that all parties will accept the discussion in good faith and work towards the restoration of peace in Ogun PDP.

Nwodo addressed the dissolution letter to Alhaji Tajudeen Oladipo, the National Vice Chairman (South – West) was copied to the former President Olusegun Obasanjo, Speaker, House of Representatives Hon. Dimeji Bankole, Governor of Ogun State Otunba Gbenga Daniel and Minister of Commerce and Industries Senator Jibrin Martins Kuye.
