Royco samples consumers to determine taste

The new seasoning from th
e stable of Unilever Nigeria Plc said it embarked on consumer sampling experience to determine the true taste of it’s goat meat seasoning, the Royco brand.

The goat meat flavour was launched in October 2009 as a response to consumer yearning for  frequent indulgence in goat meat delicacy which has been constrained by budget limitations, a statement emanating from the company has said.

The new variant the company said was confirmed by consumers as a delivery of authentic Goat meat flavour in their meals.

To drive trial and penetration, free cubes of Royco Goat meat are given to consumers and shoppers. In addition, Royco has taken further initiatives to sample consumers with vegetable soups prepared with the new seasoning in key markets and restaurants.

In the west region, the sampling activity is anchored by popular Nollywood Actress, Henrietta Kosoko.
The main objective of sampling is to give the consumers the first hand experience of New Royco Goat Meat Flavour and to validate the claim that Royco Goat Meat Cube is perfect with Vegetable soups, the statement said.

Sampling of Vegetable soup made with the New Royco Goat Meat Flavour has taken place in major cities e.g Lagos, Ijebu-Ode, Abeokuta, Ilorin and others, continues for the rest of the year.
