Society gives out 20 cars

UGHELLI — Inspired by the human capital development agenda of Delta State Government, Sungold Multi-Purpose Co-operative Society Limited, Ughelli, has given  20 new cars to its members.

Speaking during the presentation ceremony of the cars, being the first mega award of the cooperative society, one of the directors, Mrs Blessing Anyi, said they were out to alleviate the sufferings of its members.

Anyi said the society had two packages that could bailout people from their financial difficulties and named the two packages as the “Pearl and Pearl Executive Packages”.

She explained that intending members were expected to buy their goods such as rice, beverages worth #6,000 (Pearl Package) or #60,000 (Pearl Executive Package) for once.

According to her, after the purchase of the goods, “the member starts to earn big amounts of money as bonuses and other awards such as brand new cars and fully sponsored overseas holidays.

“The introduction of the Pearl Executive package in November 30, 2009, brought about a massive turnout and turnover hence 20 persons qualified for this car award.

“Sungold MPCS is set up to help people out of their financial difficulties. Three qualified persons have received their own cars before this occasion in view of their special needs.”

She added that their mission was; “to practically reduce poverty in Nigeria, West Africa and beyond. To ensure that our people feed well and have other amenities in life such as nice houses and brand new cars.”
