UGHELLI —A legal practitioner, Mr Jesutega Onokpasa, has commended Delta State Governor, Dr Emmanuel Uduaghan, for projects executed by Delta State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission (DESOPADEC).
Onokpasa said in a statement that the projects demonstrated the sustained commitment of Governor Uduaghan’s administration to comprehensive renewal of oil producing areas of the state.
According to him, “the recent reforms of the governor brought to bear on the commission have already begun to yield envisaged results to the delight of a wide spectrum of citizens and interest groups in the state.
“Such is the degree of commitment expected of leadership across all tiers of government.â€
He, however, urged Dr. Uduaghan to keep up the good work.
He said: “I equally applaud the DESOPADEC team for their impressive performance in delivering on the governor’s vision for the numerous communities the projects were spread across.
“It is hoped that in the New Year, the commission will not relent on its performance but will even surpass the feat it has already recorded.â€
