Diamond bank launches mobile website

As part of its innovation and thirst for optimising quality customer service delivery at all times, Diamond Bank Plc, has announced the launch of its mobile website to the general public. With this feat, Diamond Bank becomes the first Nigerian bank to deploy a mobile website.

According to a statement signed by the Head Corporate Communications, Charles Udoh, the Bank said the ingenious service solution was designed to create convenience for its customers.

“As part of our tradition of exploring new and better ways of delivering quality customer service to our numerous customers, we are delighted to announce that our new mobile website which was designed to enhance our customers’ access to our online services is now live and running,” he said.

Udoh further stated that the mobile website solution allows easy access to the website from mobile phone browsers. “It is a total new experience and I urge everyone to visit our website from any internet enabled mobile phone to have a feel of the new experience,” he said.

He stated that features of the Bank’s mobile website include device optimization, adding that what ever phone model a customer is browsing from, the Bank’s website will be displayed in the most optimised version.

“The optimisation is such that even if you browse to the same location via a laptop/PC, you will get the best version of the site,” he said.

As part of the features, Udoh stated that the current web applications like Branch & ATM locator are already integrated into the mobile website and that any future web applications can also be converted to mobile form and integrated.

“With click_to_call solution, this feature enables our site to display a clickable link that will generate a phone call directly from the user’s browser and the same thing happens to e_mails. The click_to_email enables our site to display a clickable link that will generate an email directly from the user’s browser,” he stated
