PPA has failed, says Abaribe

Aba—SENATOR Enyinnaya Abaribe, representing Abia South Senatorial district of Abia State says the PPA government in the state has failed the people of the state by performing below expectations.

To this end, Abaribe said that PDP had resolved to take over the state in 2011 to salvage the state.

He urged the people of Abia State to prepare to vote out the PPA government in the next general elections in the state.

Abaribe, a PDP Senator, spoke last weekend in Aba, when Aba Sports Club 1926 gave him the award of  ‘Hall of Fame Gold’ towards the development of the club.

According to Senator Abaribe, “the ruling PPA in the state has woefully failed the people of the state, especially the people and residents of Aba, where no visible development can be seen done by the PPA government”.

The situation, he lamented had given the PDP in the state great concern, hence their resolve to take over the Abia State government come 2011. He urged the people to exercise a little patience for succor to come their way, when the PDP takes over the state in 2011.

The Senator also commended the Aba Sports club 1926 for its contributions over the years towards the development of Aba. He promised to do his “ best and to partner with the club to ensure that Aba and indeed the state is represented well” to ensure proper development.
