SAPELE—Nigerian Naval Engineering College, Sapele, has graduated a new set of naval trainees in Artificial Courses 20 and 22, Automobile Mechanic Course II, Leading Mechanic Course 21 and Basic Mechanic Course 21.

Speaking at the graduation ceremony, Rear Admiral Oketa, Flag Officer Commanding, Logistics Command, who represented the Chief of Naval Staff, said the college was fulfilling its major objective by turning out technicians in good number and quality to meet the increasing maintenance and other engineering requirements of the Nigeria Navy.

Congratulating the naval trainee graduates, the Vanal chief reminded them that the Nigerian Navy had put in a lot of resources to make them good technicians.

“To whom much is given, much is expected. It is, therefore, expected that as you join the fleet, you will contribute your quota for the Nigerian Navy fleet to continue to remain afloat, move and fight.”
