Rehabilitate victims of N-Delta crisis-NUPENG
NATIONAL Union of Petroleum and Natural Gas Workers (NUPENG), has called for immediate rehabilitation of displaced natives and inhabitants of Gbaramatu area of Warri, Delta State and Odi in Bayelsa as well as other displaced people affected by the crisis in the Niger Delta region in order to boost the amnesty deal, warning that the continued neglect of these displaced people is a threat to the amnesty deal.
Fashola disburses N15m to Fadeyi fire victims
It was praises and prayers galore for the Governor Babatunde Fashola administration in Lagos State, as victims of the May 2007 fire disaster at Fadeyi, Lagos, received financial assistance from the state government.

Egbin Power generation hits 500mw
The Managing Director, Egbin Power Station, Ikorodu, Mr Jonathan Ogbonna, says the stationâ€s power generation has hit 500 mega watts. Ogbonna told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Monday in Lagos that the improvement in power generation at the plant was due to the restoration of gas supply pipeline from Utorogu in Delta, which was vandalised early in August.
