According to him, the hope of the Super Eagles beating  Kenya is sure and also depends on the coach’s  handling of the match. The FIFA Technical Instructor stressed that coach Shaibu Amodu must do his best to ensure that the boys beat Kenya.

“I believe  Nigeria will beat Kenya but the whole thing here depends on the coach. If Amodu is able do his job successfully on the boys there is every tendency that the Super Eagles will beat Kenya. I pray we win,” he said
Also reacting on the chances the Eagles have over the Harambee Stars, former Super Eagles attacking midfielder Mutiu Adepoju said the chances are  bright especially as the boys know they need the maximum points.

According to him, it is a  must win for the Super Eagles if only they want to qualify for the 2010 World Cup, the first in Africa. “Super Eagles chances are bright. One thing we must do is to win which is very much important, and I am very sure they are aware of this fact. The fact remains that we must win which is very vital or else the reverse will be the case. With the friendly match against France it will definitely motive them ” he said.

Meanwhile he called on the Nigeria Football Federation, NFF to give the players maximum  support  in order to achieve their  aim as he believed that with sufficient assistance from the NFF, Nigeria will go a long way.  “What the boys need now is encouragement and support.  The NFF needs to do every thing to ensure that the boys get enough help to qualify especially as the World Cup will be hosted in  Africa for the first time.”
