Bishop Charles Ighele receiving the award from Muhammed Babandede
The Crime Reporters Association of Nigeria (CRAN) has honoured Bishop Charles Ighele as the Peoples Advocate Clergy of the Year 2016.
The award was presented at the annual lecture and award ceremony of CRAN in Lagos.

The award was presented by Muhammed Babandede, the Controller General of Immigration Service. Ighele has a degree in history and political science from the then University of Ife, now Obafemi Awolowo University, in 1980. A tele-evangelist, Ighele is the presenter and general superintendent of Holy Spirit Mission Church, also known as the Happy Family Chapel.
