Abuja – The officials of Nigerian military intelligence have arrested a suspected killer of Major General Mohammed Shuwa (rtd)

Mohammed Shuwa was murdered in his residence in Maiduguri, Borno State by suspected Boko Haram sect on November 2, 2012.

The retired military officer was the first General Officer Commanding of the Nigerian Army’s 1st Division.

He also commanded the Nigerian Army’s 1st Division during the Nigerian Civil War.

Details of how the suspected killer was arrested were not made known but Army spokesperson, Colonel Sani Usman confirmed that the suspect will be paraded in Kano where he was arrested.
