LAGOS—A row, which has already attracted the attention of the Lagos State Police Commissioner and the Lagos State Government, is now brewing in Ibeju-Lekki area of Lagos State over the title of Oba Obirin Olorisa, Queen of Ibeju-Lekki area of Lagos State

The Lagos State Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Mr Ademoorin Kuye, has taken up the matter, following series of complaints from Oba Tajudeen Elemoro and Oba Onibeju, on the alleged activities of one Madam Toyin Eleku, who they claimed had been parading herself as Oba Obinrin Olorisa of Ibeju-Lekki area.

It was gathered that the final straw was a petition to the commissioner by lawyer to the Eleku Family of Oko Olomi, Mr Paul Ogundele, claiming that the Eleku family “Do not have such title in their family and the highest title is just a Baale in the Okunu Eleku family in the person of Chief Segun Eleku.”
