The Labour Party Presidential Campaign Council said the party’s presidential candidate, Peter Obi, will not leave Nigeria, regardless of the pressure being mounted on him.

Former Aviation Minister, Femi Fani-Kayode has asked the Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi to leave Nigeria and never come back.

Labor Party Presidential Campaign Council, LP-PCC, yesterday, accused the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, of a well-calculated and orchestrated campaign of calumny to discredit and delegitimise Mr Peter Obi, the presidential candidate, to compel him to abandon his right to seek redress in court, following the outcome of the last election which was adjudged both locally and internationally to have failed to meet any standard of credibility or fairness.

The Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed has condemned the attack on him by pan-Yoruba socio-political organisation, Afenifere, for stating Federal Government’s position on the 2023 elections.

The presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi, has said that there is pressure on him to leave the country.

A public policy think tank, The Neo Africana Centre (NAC) has berated the Minister of Information, Lai Mohammed over the allegation he levelled against Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Labour Party.

Elder statesman and Senior Advocate of Nigeria, SAN, Robert Clark, said it would be difficult for the Labour Party, LP to prove that there were election malpractices in Lagos State during the March 18th presidential election.

LABOUR PARTY Presidential Candidate, Mr. Peter Obi, has urged the Federal Government and spokesmen of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, to stop the campaign of calumny against him, noting that the campaigns were damaging the image of Nigeria on the global stage.
