A new book on former President Muhammadu Buhari has revealed how prominent pastors vigorously campaigned and prayed for him to lose the 2015 election and progressed from there to pray against him and his government after he won the poll and assumed office as Nigeria’s leader.

Therefore, any attempt by Tinubu’s APC-led government to distance itself from the calamitous records of his party’s eight-year misrule under Buhari is tantamount to pulling the wool over the eyes of Nigerians, insulting their intelligence.
