In furtherance of operations to decimate the activities of terrorists and apprehend their arms and logistics suppliers, troops of the Nigerian Army in collaboration with other security agencies, acting on credible intelligence, have successfully captured 15 terrorist gun-runners and logistics suppliers and neutralized one, in an encounter.

In a sustained effort to end illegal oil bunkering in the Niger Delta region the Nigeria Army said it has in conjunction with other sister agencies arrested 22 suspected oil thieves.

Following an intense gun duel between troops and terrorist’s group in the general areas of Kampani Doka and Rifigoro communities in Birnin Gwari Local Government Area of Kaduna State, Nigerian Army troops have eliminated terrorist elements and recovered substantial number of dangerous automatic weapons and ammunition.
