A  FORMER House of Representatives member and All Progressives Congress, APC chieftain in Abia State, Hon. Acho Obioma has described the Peoples’ Democratic Party, PDP administration in the state under Governor Okezie Ikpeazu as “impotent and not working for the progress of the people.”

The All Progressives Congress, APC has rebuffed the rebellion of the Buba Galadima led Reformed All Progressives Congress, RAPC with a four point criminal charge against the leaders of the group.

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has said the All Progressives Congress (APC) is on the throes of imminent death, saying its national leadership has resorted to fabrications and cheap blackmail against those leaving the ruling party’s fold in droves.

A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and former governor of Abia State, Dr Orji Uzor Kalu, says that the leadership of the party is currently engaging in discussions to bring back the New APC splinter group.

From  Friday evening, up till the early hours of yesterday, politicians in some parts of the country, particularly the  Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Abuja, launched  into a series of  meetings in the wake of the Supreme Court judgment clearing Senate President Bukola Abubakar Saraki of charges bordering  on assets declaration.  Whereas information made available to Sunday Vanguard confirmed that Saraki has not decided on what his next political move would be, there were a few uneducated – though desirable – suggestions from some quarters that he should rush into the presidential contest.
