APC unfazed, not in Coalition with any party

Earlier in the week, the Peoples Democratic Party PDP went into a coalition with the Reformed All Progressives Congress R-APC, a splinter group within the ruling APC, along with 38 other political parties, a development that has seen few other parties led by the Peoples Democratic Movement PDM forming themselves into a  Coalition for Progressives Political Parties CPPP and consequently  aligning with the ruling party.

From  Friday evening, up till the early hours of yesterday, politicians in some parts of the country, particularly the  Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Abuja, launched  into a series of  meetings in the wake of the Supreme Court judgment clearing Senate President Bukola Abubakar Saraki of charges bordering  on assets declaration.  Whereas information made available to Sunday Vanguard confirmed that Saraki has not decided on what his next political move would be, there were a few uneducated – though desirable – suggestions from some quarters that he should rush into the presidential contest.

EDO State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has congratulated the Alhaji Buba Galadima-led Reformed All Progressives Congress, R-APC, for their courage, determination and forthrightness in admitting that the party runs a “rudderless, inept and incompetent government that has failed to deliver good governance to the Nigerian people.”
