The Governor of Imo State, Owelle Rochas Okorocha has said that he succeeded in business, in politics, in education without brandishing any name except God.

It is quite unfortunate that our Honourable Minister in charge of Power, Mr. Babatunde Fashola is stuck on this belief. It is clear that the DISCOS (electricity distribution companies) did not do enough due diligence before they jumped into the bandwagon.

It is important that the DISCOS change their ways and mode of operation

Rochas Okorocha’s jibe at Chief Femi Fani-Kayode, following the wide doubts expressed by Nigerians at the authenticity of the photograph emanating from the APC governors’ purported visit to Muhammadu Buhari in London is a sign of desperation to serve the evil purposes for which the Imo State governor has been procured.

Women are no longer trailblazers, the only woman in their field; they are part of an overflowing pipeline of future leaders. Women are no longer competing for just one seat at the table; they are sitting side by side on executive boards at companies large and small.
