An old Chinese proverb says: Do good, reap good; do evil, reap evil. This short proverb sums the intensity of attacks against President Muhammadu Buhari, not leaving the ratcheting up of violence in some the States after a period of relative calm, in the wake of the political tsunami honouring the heroes of June 12, 1993 presidential election, which was annulled thus preventing the widely-acclaimed winner, Chief M.K.O Abiola (of blessed memory) from taking office as the President of Nigeria.

What defines the fullness of life is freedom and liberty to exist.  Even animals are conscious of it. Those who enjoy freedom hardly appreciate the blessings of that small, but unquantifiable grace of God Almighty, until it is severed.  A caged being is undoubtedly, the most melancholic soul anyone can encounter.

Over 1000 years ago, a greek philosopher Sextus Empiricus posrtulated that “ The mills of the gods grind slowly, but they grind small” This was further translated in a 17th  century poem as thus “ Though the mills of God grinds slowly , yet they grind exceeding small, though with patience he stands waiting with exactness grinds he all. 

The only question to be asked is whether the circumstances that played out for President Buhari will play out in favour of Chief Great Ogboru in 2019
