This is because baring any unforeseen circumstances, from January 9, 2016, Nigeria would be a proud host of a national database. In addition, citizens and others legally living in the country would have and begin to use a digital identification cum wallet, the National Identification Number, NIN, which would tell accurately who they are, their ages, work and a whole other information in just one stripe.

PRESIDENT of Nigeria Internet Group (NIG), Eng. Adebayo Banjo has assured internet users in Nigeria that his association would work with relevant bodies to ensure that the country enjoys more effective and efficient broadband penetration.
