Tecno Mobile in a bid to drive online awareness for its Photo focus smart phone, CAMON C8 has sponsored Huseina Mohammed, winner of TECNO Mobile online campaign CaptureLifeFive13 to the UEA, on a six-day expense paid trip.
It would be recalled that the competition had kicked off on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter in August, 2015.
Participants were tasked to share breathtaking pictures captured with their Camon C8 and share on the social media.
The campaign aimed to project the amazing low light density camera of the CAMON C8 and its ability to capture excellent images in low light conditions.
Speaking on the competition, Mr. Jesse Oguntimehin, Digital marketing Manager, TECNO Mobile said contestants who shared
pictures that best portrayed the unique selling point of the CAMON C8 smart phone were picked over the rest.
“We narrowed our selection to the pictures which showed detailed images in low light and Huseina Mohammed’s posts came tops, being the closest to what a low light camera on a smart phone can do, we told her to get her passport ready” Mr. Jesse Oguntimehin added.
The elated CaptureLifeFive13 winner, Huseina Mohammed said her trip to Dubai was “the most exciting adventure” she has experienced yet.
Sharing her first gut feeling when a caller from TECNO told her she had won the prize, Huseina Mohammed, said she felt it was a new trick by fraudsters.
In her words: “A friend told me about CaptureLifeFive13 and I opted in, posting pictures I’d taken with my phone on Twitter with the hash tag. I’m not quite sure I believed it was a competition; I just enjoyed posting pictures and reading people’s comments-when the call came that I had won, I had to verify the whole thing wasn’t a scam”
