Donald Trump will promise fearful Americans that “safety will be restored” if he is elected president, as he accepts the Republican Party’s White House nomination Thursday.

The leadership of the APC has, in collaboration with Governor Adams Oshiomhole, finally prevailed on party members in the House of Assembly to return the office of Speaker to Edo Central Senatorial District.

GOVERNOR Adams Oshiomhole, yesterday, accused the PDP candidate, Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu of wanting to be governor for the sole purpose of acquiring immunity for alleged financial crimes.

The PDP has raised alarm over an alleged plot by the APC to rig the September 10 governorship election and called on government institutions and security agencies not work with the APC in subverting the will of the Edo people.

A PDP cheiftain Mr Okharedia Ihimekpen, yesterday faulted the allegation by former chairman Board of Trustees of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Chief Tony Anenih that the Adams Oshiomhole led APC marginalized the people of Edo Central, accusing Chief Anenih of allegedly masterminded the marginalization of Okpebho people of Esan land with his Agbazillo people.
