IN continuation of its commitment to developing the Nigeria automotive industry, Ford Motor Company has donated three brand new vehicles to Coscharis CG Eko LLP Automobile Training Centre for practical training at the centre. The three vehicles include a Ford Ranger Pick-up, Everest SUV and a Ford Figo compact car.

HAVING perfected truck assembling in its Ikeja, Lagos plant, Dangote Sinotruk West Africa Limited is now set to commence construction work on its truck cabin line next month. The cabin line is expected to be ready by next year and would take the local content level of Dangote Sinotruk vehicles to about 50 per cent when completed.

KIA Motors has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the State Government of Andhra Pradesh, India to build a new manufacturing facility in Anantapur District. The MOU was signed at a ceremony held in the city of Vijayawada, a part of Andhra Pradesh Capital Region, attended by executives from Kia Motors and the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Nara Chandrababu Naidu.
