The Muslim Students’ Society of Nigeria, Lagos State Area Unit has said that the issue of Hijab in the state is yet to be resolved.

Muslims all over the world have been crying out loud and clear that the activities of these daredevils Boko Haram are not in sync with islam and there are not the handiwork of Muslims. Recently, the Grand Mufti and one of the leading Imams in Saudi Arabia not only condemned the act but went ahead to say these people perpetrating these acts are not Muslims.

Being an open lecture delivered by Sheikh Mustapha Sanusi Zuglool, Mudeer Dharu-Dawah Wal-Irshad, Isolo, Lagos entitled: Gay marriage: The Islamic Perspective. The lecture was organised by Allahu-Samad Foundation of Nigeria (ASFON) in Lagos recently.

IT often occurs to me that many of our sisters in Islam are not properly encouraged once they begin to observe the requirements of Hijab. It may be that a sister has been obliged to wear the Hijab without truly pondering over its social benefits.
