NATIONAL Space Research and Development Agency, NASRDA, Centre for Basic Space, Nsukka, CBSS, has advocated better deal for youth development in space technology research to provide adequate solutions to myriad of problems facing Information Communication Technology in Africa.

A 23 YEAR – old physically challenged political science graduate of Adeleke University, Ede, Osun State, Miss Sherifat Odemo, has been offered automatic employment by the varsity on her completion of her National Youth Service Corps. This was announced by the Pro-Chancellor and Chairman of Council, Adeleke University, Dr. Adedeji Adeleke, during the pro-chancellor’s dinner night held at the varsity cafeteria which was one of the events lined up for the third convocation ceremony of the varsity.

AN education advocacy group, the Education Rights Campaign, ERC, has condemned the new cut off marks announced by Joint Admission and Matriculation Board, JAMB, which lowered the minimum requirement for admission into institutions of higher learning, just as it charged government to reverse the privatisation of primary and secondary education to improve on the quality of education.

AS controversy continues to trail the 120, 100, and 110 cut-off marks set by the Joint Admissions and Matriculations Board (JAMB) for admission at various institutions, authorities in schools have pegged their cut-of marks at between 160 and 200, describing the JAMB’s benchmarks as ridiculous.
