Confusion has taken the centre stage in the oil-rich Iggah Community, Uzo-Uwani Local Government Area, Enugu State, over alleged government refusal to release the corpse of a teenager allegedly killed by soldiers barely one year and six months ago.

When 35 year-old Adesuwa got married to Kevin Okihria from Iruekpen in Esan West Local Government Council, Edo State in 2004, she prayed that the resentment that bedevilled the union from some of her in-laws will fade with time. Police detectives in Imo State recently recorded a breakthrough when they rescued a three-year-old boy from a notorious gang of kidnappers. The boy, Nse Eyisere, was allegedly kidnapped from Ugbodogwu Farm Settlement in Ovie North Local Government Area of Edo State by one Nelson Dumbiri Okoji, a suspected cult leader and taken to Oguta Local Government Area of Imo State where he was sold to one Heggai Eromaka of Ubi-Agwa in the same area. Okoji was reportedly alleged to have connived with one Ozioma, a member of his community to kidnap their victim.

Following the recent allegations levied against a Lieutenant-Colonel in the Nigerian Army, by some aggrieved individuals over forceful eviction from a property located at House Number 311, B close, Festac town, Lagos, a counsel to the officer identified as Victor Chinedu, has cleared the air on the allegations.
