The World Bank Group, in partnership with Ashesi University, the governments of the Denmark and the Netherlands, and Ghana’s Ministry of Environment, Science, Technology and Innovation (MESTI), inaugurated today the Ghana Climate Innovation Centre (GCIC), a technology hub designed to help over 100 local clean technology businesses develop and commercialize innovative solutions to climate change.

Each day starts with a toolbox tour where the  previous day’s work is inspected and decisions are made about the day ahead.  “Every day is different,” says Roland Ester, Centerline Manager Kusile Power Plant, GE Power.  “Not one day is the same as we regularly find ourselves facing challenges and  issues that we need to solve.”
