THE terrible condition of Ago Place Way in the Isolo Local Council Development Area of Lagos State has remained unresolved.

Worried by the growing rate of homelessness in the country, the Nigerian Institution of Estate Surveyors and Valuers NIESV, has called on the Federal Government to create a housing intervention fund to reduce the housing shortfall estimated at over 16 million units.

ACTIVITIES in Aiyetoro-Abuletuntun community in Ojokoro Local Council Development Area, LCDA, were halted five-years-ago following a massive flood that sacked the residents.

The Federal Government may soon present a Federal Roads Authority Bill to the National Assembly for consideration and passage into law. The Roads Authority which would be a semi-autonomous road agency, would be responsible for the efficient construction, maintenance and rehabilitation of Federal roads in the country.
