Researchers have created a new material that could solve some of the problems holding back projects to combat global warming by capturing and burying carbon emitted from power stations.

The Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria, IPMAN, has promised to support the management of the Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation, NNPC, and the Pipelines and Products Marketing Company, PPMC to restore pumping of products into the System 2B pipeline.

The company is positioned to expend a minimum of 14,423 manhours on the project with 100 percent Nigerian content.
