Bauchi — The Bauchi State Deputy Governor, Alhaji Babayo Graba Gamawa, has declared that the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, will continue to rule in the state, just as the present administration has provided exemplary leadership in the state.
Gamawa who spoke with journalists in his office yesterday, said the Peoples Democratic Party has already built a strong structure on ground nationwide, adding that it will be difficult to be up rooted in the state.
He maintained that most of the political parties wandering about did not have any strong structure that would redirect the chance of PDP; the largest Party in Africa, adding that time will come when all Nigerians would become members of the ruling party and the country.
He said “with PDP steering the government affairs from the federal level, the state had better opportunity to achieve much in terms of providing developmental projects and employment, for instance the Gubi dam project which will soon be completed part of the federal government’s intervention”.
The deputy governor said, beside that, since inception of PDP led administration of Isa Yuguda, the state have witnessed a drastic transformation that have improved the socio_economic and political life of the people in the state.
“The Yuguda led administration has brought about several interventions in key areas of development that have direct bearing on the lives of the people of the state, such as healthcare delivery services, agriculture, education, potable water supply, housing, public works and sanitation, amongst others.
With these achievements mentioned in various sectors from the PDP administration, the citizens will not have a second thought of voting the party” he said.
