With the recent poor performance in the CAF Champions League  by Heartland FC, the Owerri based soccer outfit believe they will bounce back .

According to the media Officer, Cajethan Nwokpara, the team’s recent drop in the Champions League was due to hard luck that has played it part, but believes the problem will be  rectified in subsequent matches.

“Our position in CAF Champions League is temporary.  We hope to rectify the problem  by ensuring that we improve our performance. The team has been playing well  but hard luck and  little mistake  made us conceive some goals, that put us in this position .

“So what we intend to do, is to make sure those mistakes are not  repeated. We have two matches at home and  a win in both matches will see us secure six points, if we add the one point in our kitty that makes it seven points.
“We must do our best to come out second, first position seemed to be far off”, he said.
