As parts of plans to take advantage of the potentials inherent in the Nigerian market and expansion of its investment activities across key markets in the globe, Pabod Breweries Limited (PBL), a subsidiary of SAB Miller, has commenced the production of Castle Milk Stout (CMS) in Nigeria.
Speaking during the launch of the product in Lagos, Managing Director of the company, Johan De Kok noted that the production and launch is a demonstration of its resolve in bringing great quality products to satisfy its growing number of consumers.
According to him, Castle Milk Stout is carefully made, utilising slow-roasted barley; the choicest of hops combined with a touch of lactose milk for a smoother, fuller flavoured premium stout, which can only be described as a welcome delight to the taste buds.
He noted that the product which contains six per cent alcohol by volume (ABV), will be available for its customers in Nigeria in 330ml cans.
He said, “Our discerning consumers strive for a quality tasting stout that they can be proud of. A Special One which represents who they are and where they are going.
“Castle Milk Stout is premium because it’s made from our signature slow brewing process creating a rich, creamy dark stout.â€
“we are still committed to our goals at PBL, of producing high quality products for the nation. The long awaited entry of Castle Milk Stout into Lagos is sure to generate waves of excitement in the overall Nigerian marker.â€
Speaking in the same vein, Mr. Samori Gambrah, Head, Marketing of the company disclosed that a communication campaign targeted at the Lagos region has been developed to support the launch of the product.
This, according to him, includes savvy radio commercials, in-bar promotions and other major experiential events.
He said, “An aggressive ‘Stand out from the Crowd’ promotional campaign will be conducted to avail our discerning consumers a first hand experience of the rich, creamy taste of Castle Milk Stout.
“The campaign will be in select bars near the consumers, so we advise the consumers to gear up to experience the ‘Special One’.â€
