A PDP House of Representatives aspirant for Ika Federal Constituency in the forth coming 2011 election in Delta State, Dr. Isioma Okobah says she will use her position, if elected, to attract Federal Government presence to the area.

She said she would also, through her 3-Point Agenda of Health, Education and Empowerment programme, ensure that the people of the area benefited from the true dividends of democracy.

Mrs. Okobah, in an interactive session with newsmen at the end of a meeting of PDP faithfuls in Ika North-East Local Government Area, said the decision to vie for the House of Representatives seat was due to her heart-burning desire to contribute her quota towards the upliftment and economic growth of her people.

She stated that she has over the years through her NGO, financed Delta Doctors in Diaspora, offered free medical care to the various communities of the constituency and the state on yearly basis.

She hoped that her election into the National Assembly will further afford her the opportunity to do more. She solicited the support of all to enable her achieve her set goals.
