Egoh who spoke in a phone interview with Vanguard assured that the PDP would win in all the wards adding that APC will be surprised at the result at the end.
“I can assure you that PDP will sweep all the wards and APC will be left with nothing,” Egoh said.
The federal lawmaker explained that, most of the candidates of APC are not united due to the fact that they were disenfranchised during the primaries, a development that has led to the most serious crisis to have enveloped the ruling APC since its formation in 2013.
“With this development, PDP is rest assured that the election will be in its interest. We are only praying that the election should be free and fair. If it is free and fair, there is no doubt that our party will win the election all round.
“We also pray that the right result be declared after the election, once that is done, we do not have problem”, he said.
On the insinuation that Lagos State Independent Electoral Commission, LASIEC would compromise in delivering a free and fair election, he said, “there were rumours from different quarters that the results will not be declared in the polling units but it has be clarified.
“There was also report that LASIEC officials have right to expel party or candidates but I want to say here that they do not have the right to expel any party.
So if the right things are done, it is an election that we should win”, he assured.
“We do not have any fear. We know that our candidates are equal to the task and they will not let the constituents down.
“I am sure, there is no problem. We are ready for the election. PDP candidates know all the challenges that are confronting the people of Amuwo Odofin. They know all the bad roads.
“APC in Lagos has performed woefully especially in the local government areas.
The council chairman has failed in his responsibilities. I will be shocked, if they have any tangible vote in Lagos State especially in areas like Amuwo Odofin constituency”, he further assured.
