Ado-Ekiti—The governor of Ekiti State, Mr Ayodele Fayose has accused President Muhammadu Buhari of deliberately side-lining the state since his emergence.
He said the Buhari led administration does not have the interest of the state at heart, accusing it of budgeting no project for the state in the 2017 appropriation law.
Fayose said, the people of the state will revolt against the APC during the 2018 governorship poll owing to lacklustre performance of the APC-led federal government and its insensitivity to the plights of Ekiti populace.

The government accused the federal government of sweeping under the carpet, the panel set up to try many of the APC’s cronies, tactically referring to the one constituted to probe the suspended Secretary to the Federal Government, Mr Babachir David Lawal over allegation of multimillion contract relating to the welfare of the Internally Displaced People of the Northeast.
The governor said these while addressing mammoth crowd of party supporters at the government house in Ado Ekiti during a ceremony commemorating the third anniversary of his victory in the
governorship poll held on June 21, 2014 in the state.
